Los Angeles native Imani G. Alexander studied directing and physical theatre in London, earning an MA in Text & Performance from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and Birkbeck College (University of London). She has been involved in the Los Angeles arts scene as a dance theatre performer, choreographer, vocalist, singer-songwriter and dance teacher. Recent choreography credits include the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble productions of Side by Side by Sondheim (2018) and Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris (2017). Her critically acclaimed solo show Bone Woman premiered locally at the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival and made its international debut at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
